Burt R. Willie is a shareholder with Smith Knowles, P.C. where he practices real property law, focusing primarily in the areas of community association law (HOA) representing both homeowner associations and developers in all aspects of community development and homeowner association operations across multiple states.  Burt is a leading attorney in the field of community association law and has extensive experience assisting both community board members and developers in successfully navigating the various legalities they face on a day-to-day basis. Burt has sponsored and spoken at countless educational and industry events providing training to attorneys, clients, property managers, and community board members on all things HOA. Burt prides himself on providing sound, balanced, and practical advice to communities of all types and sizes with a focus on real-world solutions.

Burt resides in Ogden Valley with his wife, Nancy, and their four children. In his spare time, Burt enjoys mountain biking, dirt biking, skiing, and water sports.
