Ryan D. Poole is a trial attorney that has represented individuals, entities, and government institutions in all manner of disputes – through trial and appeal – relating to severe personal injury/wrongful death, real estate, construction, land use, water law, contracts, insurance, malpractice, civil rights and many other types of civil matters. He represents clients across Idaho and Utah, and has represented clients ranging from individuals to multi-billion dollar companies, and in high-value disputes with many-millions of dollars at stake. Ryan is also an active member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and assists homeowner associations in making strategic and beneficial choices relating to governance, enforcement, risk management, and disputes.
ADMISSIONS
Ryan is licensed in all Idaho State Courts and in the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho, and in all Utah State Courts and in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, and in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ryan is also licensed to practice in all Washington State Courts and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Washington. He is a member in good standing in the Idaho State Bar (ISB), Utah State Bar (USB), and the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA).

EDUCATION
Ryan received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Idaho College of Law, and has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Colorado State University. Prior to law school, Ryan spent time working as a freshwater biologist/researcher and in business management. During law school, Ryan worked in student government and competed successfully at the national level in moot court. Ryan also served as a Judicial Officer for the University of Idaho, completed an externship with a city attorney, and spent time as a law clerk for a trial judge.
PERSONAL
Ryan is a fifth-generation in east Idaho, and appreciates all that is the Rocky Mountain West. Outside the practice of law, Ryan devotes most of his time and energy to his family and spending as much time as possible outdoors.
